Having Dynamics in 3 languages

Hello,

We're evaluating platforms for our sales department. We mostly work with local florists in several countries (notably Austria), and they would all need to be able to access the platform. However, some of our collaborators in Austria would need to have access to it in German, while others need it in French. I was wondering if it was possible to achieve that with a single licence or if it was too complicated.

Sorry if it is unclear, I'm only starting to learn about Dynamics so I may have missed that information.

Best regards,

Gerhart Steiner

    Hello Gerhalt,

    Hope you are well.

Totally agree with Lorne, Dynamics 365 CE allows multiple languages on interface and you need just enable the desired package.

See this article for further help:

RE: Having Dynamics in 3 languages

D365 is definitely able to be available in multiple languages. Once your environment is provisioned you would be able to access additional languages to be available (screenshot below).  Once the languages are provisioned, you can assign the appropriate language to the users. Keep in mind though that having those other users access the environment would mean assigning licenses, security roles, etc.  And that also means they need an account in the Office 365 tenant that would also be part of your subscription which would be part of YOUR company's domain, not theirs.  So, if their company (ies) use Windows machines that are domain joined, either AD or AAD (Azure AD), they will need to remember to use an incognito/inprivate browser session when trying to access your D365 instance. Not major obstacles, but things to be aware of.  Depending on what they need to do, it MIGHT be easier to provision a Dynamics portal for them versus direct system access as they could access the portal without the browser/domains issues.
