We have several users posting both purchase receipt and sales shipment at the same time of the day
Although they work on different locations and often on different "directions" (Inbound and outbound), we have daily issues with tables locking
I understand tables like sales lines and warehouse shipment headers and lines to be locked when a user is shipping stock.
Yet even users posting purchase receipts or re-opening/ releasing purchase orders are locked when someone else is shipping; and vice versa.
This because of the locking of the warehouse request table that holds both receiving and shipment documents
Our current volumes are about 80 documents a day for an average 1600 lines for which we have lot no and expiration days (Food items)
This results in downtimes of about 20 minutes a day when only one user at the time can post in NAV. Either receiving or shipping stock
Is there any workaround that can help reducing the number of tables locked?
It would be a good start if purchase receipts and sales shipments could be posted at the same time.
