During the version_7 ro 2011 Upgrade, there is opportunity to revamp our current environment. We are using virtual terminal and web servers and have one physical Dynamics server connected to a SQL 2005 Cluster of three servers and some 60 other databases on the cluster. I am thinking about seperating the database and possibly going to a blade server foundation with stand alone database, ours is around 40gb with some 3000 employees. Does anyone have good, bad, ugly for going to silo'ed Dynamics environment VS clustered database with Virtual servers?
