Hi Everyone,

I am working on Budget planning and currently facing issue following scenario mapping in budget planning:

Finance Department Distribute budget to Different Department but my client wants to aggregate multiple departments data in one place so that one person can update, review and approve for few department and after that it should aggregate at finance level.

Can you help me how to configure my budget hierarchy in such way so that when I distribute baseline it should go to main department and once they update it should come to one virtual department where one person will review and resubmit for finance review and final approval?

Hi Ludwig,

Thanks for quick response. Yes I gone through this document before and it’s working perfectly up to 2nd level. I need it for 3rd level as in my case there is one person is responsible to approve few department’s request and 2nd for remaining departments.

So want to distribute to all departments and require to aggregate at one virtual department where that responsible person will approve.

And after that it will aggregate for finance approval.

it works well with 3 levels

in the workflow, after aggregation should also have in budget planning hierarchy a level which is just below the final approval level where one last time the approval could be obtained

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for response.

My requirement is something different. Let me reproduce one more time.

Finance Create Main Budget and Distribute to All Department.

After receipt of distribution amount respective department will update required amount and submit.

Now main requirement is this budget for few department should aggregate at one place and one person will review. And it will reproduce for remaining department.

After that step it should aggregate at Finance Level.

all those department just have a common manager so that the workflow automatically routes the approval to the one person responsbile

Hi Rahul,

Thanks for suggestion.

I am facing issue because client don't want to provide position to this one person for all department as this person is only responsible for budget.

And I also want to aggregate data from multiple department to one.
