Could you teach me where to set up the values of a set ,for example the set Net Income Default ?
Hi Jacky,
What i understand that you actually want the "Net Income" in Income Statement to appear in Balance Sheet?
Yes, You can do that.
Please check the below link and video to help you out:

Hello Jacky,
Here is an example.
Step 1: I defined a dimension value set for all balance sheet accounts simply by making use of the from and to field settings
Step 2:
Because of that, I can simply select this element when I define a report.
This can help especially if you re-use the dimension set in multiple reports.
Then you don't have to think what accounts to select when you want to create a specific report.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Junaid:
Thanks for your reply.
I just want to know why the 'Net Income Default' can be filled in the 'dimension value set' and how to set up the 'Net Income Default' values.
I have practiced again and have dicoveryed the action steps. It is spposed to use the 'Manage Dimension Value Sets' button ,then to new or modify the formulas.
step1: click 'Manage Dimension Value Sets' button
step2: choice MAINACCOUNTCATEGORY in Dimension field.
step3: choice Net income default in the table list , then modify
step4:modify the values of category
It should be simple, but I failed to use the 'Manage Dimension Value Sets' button. I confused you.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Ludwig:
I aslo have practiced what you had suggested. I'm not familar with dimension value set. Your suggestion is so helpful.
Thanks.
BTW From Manage dimension value set you can use Main Account Category as well to calculate Net Income but before that you have make sure that your Main account Category is properly linked with all P & L accounts. So an easiest way is to define main accounts range and let's MR calculate for you Net Income.
Good Luck.
Thanks for your suggestion. I will practice what you have said again.
