Auto Populate a field

Hi All,

I need to auto populate a field from the account entity into another entity - I'm currently looking at creating a workflow for this information to be added however i'm unsure how to create this? 

I need the Account information for example contact details to be copied into another entity so when we select the existing account it will show all the contact details in the new entity.

Are you able to help? I'm not a professional at this so any help would be great!

    Hi ,

    You should  use  quick view form for your requirement , no code approach if you are using for view purpose only.

    If  you enable data editing you can  call web  API to get the data. See here how to generate code -

    Write javascript instead of workflow to create openQuickCreate form with mapping.
