How can I reverse picking for sales work line

Hi Experts,

How can i reverse the pick for individual work line?

There is an option to reverse entire work from load and there is short pick option.

Both option does not the cover the scenario where I have multiple work like on sales work, picking for first line is completed by picker and later realize it is broken product.

User want to reverse/cancel that pick. how can I achieve this?

    Hi Vishal, 

    You might want to explore the reduce picked quantity option in this case. An important note here is that it's only possible for closed works.

    How does it work: 

    • Use the reduce picked quantity button on the shipment or load 
    • Specify the quantity you want to unpick 
    • Specify the location you want to move the product to  
      • Inventory movement will be created to move the products back into storage but it's automatically closed. 

    How to proceed: 

    • This depends on your setup. In case the load line quantities are decremented, you will be able to rerelease the order again. In case the load line quantities were not decremented you for instance need to rerelease the load. However, this all depends on the desired outcome and your setup.

    thank you Alice, As i mentioned in my question my work is not closed yet. Seems reduced picked qty on load only work on closed work. In my scenario only first pick line is closed but there are more picks yet to complete. My work status is in process. How to cancel/reverse first pick in this case?

    Hi Vishal, 

    In case multiple pick lines are still open your inventory of the closed pick is at that moment stored on a user location. In this case, I would say that it's not possible to execute any kind of reverse/reduce action. 

    Because of the latter and because you are mentioning to reduce the quantity of a specific line instead of the whole work my suggestions was to use the reduce quantity option. However, this indeed requires the execution of the whole work first.

    I created a video on the reduce pick process to show how it's done.  You do have to finish picking the work before you can perform this procedure.
