Hi Team,

I am attempting to post a JV in the system but am encountering the following issue. This document has never been posted in the system before, and it is the first time I am processing it. I have reviewed all posted purchase invoices and performed basic debugging, but I am still unable to identify the resolution.

Could you please guide me if I might be missing any steps?

    I tried to check all. 
     
    The document no. never posted like that in earlier stage.. THis is strange error i am getting and even i tried to post by adding _1 still system not allowing to post.

    You can get this error message from either the document no. or the external document no.

    Hi, this is a problem with the Document No. and has nothing to do with the external document no.
    It is recommended to search in the Vendor Ledger Entries to see if this number already exists. If so, please change the Document No. before posting.

    The only time I've encountered this error was when either the document number already existed as a posted purchase invoice, or the external document number had already been used on a posted purchase invoice. I would double check in the general ledger entries if you can see this document no. anywhere. Otherwise, hopefully other users will have other input.

    Yes Tried the same as well by changing Ext Document No.

    Is it the external document no. that's a duplicate perhaps?
