How to show system date on application window

Dear all,

Is there any possibilities to show transaction system entered date on the module window? I can see the log datas from sys admin but dont know how to show that information on module itself. For example: If I see the transaction details on receivables I can not see the system log date I can only see the document date that I have entered. How to show this information in new column.

Can you please provide more details, i was not sure which date you are referring and on which document ?

If you want to know who created or modified a document, please check the below how to customize it to add the fields

i assume you mean then creation date or modified date withe "system entered date" or "system log date". to show that date in a new column a customization of the according table and form/page is needed. most tables do not have that kind of field, so you will need a new field in the source table of the form/page. to fill that field you need to change triggers oninsert/onmodify in the table.

Hi,

If you mean on which date the Transaction was posted in the system, you need to customize (you need to take the data from G/L Register table based on the From Entry No. and To Entry No.).

Thank you very much Mahesh and Suresh. I am new too this system and thank you very much for supporting. I have been working on Oracle so the transaction created date directly show on the system window that is why I thought it should be standard.

Do you think that Nav 2016 is the same?
