Left Navigation Bar - Only 10 Icons visible

Hi,

I am using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Version 1612 (9.0.22.8) (DB 9.0.22.8) On-Premise.

I have previously added Custom entities in the left Navigation Bar which are visible when Navigation Bar is Expanded as well as collapsed. Now I have added another entity which is visible when Navigation Bar is expanded but new menu option is not visible when collapsed.

I noticed that only 10 menu options are visible when Navigation bar is collapsed and that's why newly added one is not visible. I removed an existing entity and could see the newly added menu option available which confirmed that only 10 menu options are visible when collapsed.

Is there any setting to increase the number of menu options? If not, is there any other supported way of increasing the number?

Hi Ahsan,

I think so there is no limit. By the way you can not add some as is Entities (for example contract, report). Could you be trying to add one of these entites?

Hi Ahsan Majeed -

I'm not aware of such limit, at least online, but I wouldn't be surprised that the on-premise version has some, as it's a very early version of Unified Interface.

I would advise to wait for an upgrade of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement on-premise to get an updated version of Unified Interface.
