I have created a class which will import the record from Excel and inserts into Tables , In my case the tables are

1.Ledgerjournaltrans and 2.Ledgerjournaltable.

I am facing issue in viewing the records on form.

I can able to see only JournalNum value on the form, rest of the values which are imported from Excel and even though they are present in the table , they are not visible on the form.

One more observation is , without populating the records from excel, if i create the records manually on the form all the records are visible.

Is there anything which needs to be taken care while excel import into table ?

Can you show your code? Since the form works when you're manually creating records, perhaps there's an issue with your code/import.

Hi Raghu,

Can you tell if the journal batch number is exactly the same on the journal lines? What type of ledger entries are you creating? Have you also provided a Line number? Can you see any differences in the table browser between the lines imported and created manually?

Is a class really required here? Data import export framework can also import journal lines from Excel files.

HI Raghu G S ,

Your import process is not populating field in the ledgerJournalTrans table properly . Simple troubleshooting tip would be compare record created from UI and Imported from excel and see what you are missing.
