Hi,

I am trying to filter lookup by properties with created view. Want to set other then default lookup value(state).
Lookup field shows proper filtered record But when i click on the lookup magnifying glass it does'nt set selected record
it shows blank. However, when i click on 'lookup more records' then it set the selected record.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Aileen,

I am not using any javascript. I have set property of lookup field 'show related record' and created view and set as default for lookup. It is giving expected record.

The lookup field is giving me expected filtered records I don't want to user javascript. Issue is when I am trying to select value by single click on lookup magnifying glass it doesn't affect on field and when I open lookup by clicking look more record and select the value then only it affect on field.

When I select value from point 1 then it show blank as in point 2.

But below as I click on 'lookup more records' and select one record then only it shows in product field.

Hi Suresh,

Your Product lookup is a custom entity right?

it seems you don't have primary name for the records, it's actually not blank?

Please help to check that your product name is not empty.

Are you facing this issue with current lookup only or with all lookup fields ?? Which browser you are using ?? did you try in another browsers and facing the same issue ??

Yes it is custom entity. and the value i want to set is not the primary name.

Product name is not blank as in image it affect from 'lookup more records' select.

When i update view with primary name field it set the primary name but not the product name.

I am facing this issue only for this lookup other lookup fields are working proper.

and i am using explorer10.
