Hi all,
Not sure if this is a bug or meant to happen. This is caused by appointments tracked back to Dynamics from the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook. When a appointment is tracked back with attendees that aren't resolved to a contact, lead or account it then prevents me from deleting the appointment in Dynamics until the attendees are resolved to a contact.
When I try and delete it I get an error:
The specified domain does not exist or cannot be contacted
It's only when I resolve these to a contact or create a contact and resolve it would I then be able to delete the appointment. I can't even go through and delete the activityparties that don't have a party linked to it.
I do not want to go through all the hundreds of appointments with unresolved attendees and resolve them before deleting the record...
Is this a bug or is this intended to happen? Seems quite dumb that they won't let you delete the record....
