Price on KIT deviates from discount table

Customer has a candle that retails for $3.25. (cost = $1.34)

They've created a KIT for 24 ( a case) that retails for $64.50 (cost = 32.16)

Case discounts start at 25 ($56.25) and again at 50 ($53.31)

If you sell 25 it shows: $56.25 each

If you sell 26 it shows: $56.39 each

If you sell 27 it shows: $56.53 each

I can not figure out why it's adding $0.14 on the additional.

    Hi cness,

If the option is checked, try unmarking it and test the results in POS.

Then mark it again, and test in POS.

Hi! 1) Can you confirm that you are using the most recent version of RMS and that all service packs, hotfixes, etc have been applied?

2)Kits are normally used for grouping multiple products to be sold together for one price (eg: a bike sold with a helmet and water bottle or a computer, printer and monitor sold as one package or kit).

Is the goal here to offer a case/lot discounted price (eg: candles are $3.25/each but a case of 24 is $64.50)?

RE: Price on KIT deviates from discount table

    Hi cness,

I think the issue is that the 'Discount odd items' is not checked on the Discounts tab of the Candle kit:

If you want to discount the odd quantities, you would want to mark this option.

If this is not marked, any odd quantities are priced at the regular kit price; and using the example provided this would be 25 at the discounted price and 1 at the normal kit price.

Therefore, when 26 candles are sold the price would be calculated as 25x$56.25 + 1x$64.50 (regular price of the kit) = $1470.75. To get the individual price it then divides $1470.75 by 26 which equals $56.57.
NOTE: In my testing, when the 'Discount odd items' is not marked, the each price of the kit is showing as $56.57 as calculated in the above example.

NOTE: Mainstream support for Microsoft Dynamics RMS 2.0 ended on July 10, 2016; and extended support ends on 7/13/2021:

This is less than 6 months from now; and you can continue using RMS after this date but technical support will not be available.

I would recommend checking with your partner in regard to what they may recommend as a replacement system after the extended support end date.
