Hello, 

I'm trying to understand how item cost is determined in different scenarios and also closing and adjustment 

Does anybody can provide me some manual or any PDF material regarding inventory valuation and costing for MS Dynamics AX?

    Hi,

    You can find a whitepaper here:

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Its for ax2009 but still valid for ax2012.

    In addition, there are some good information available on the MS docs websites.

    Also check out those.
