Hi Folks,
Could you please advice. can have multiple users logged on with same credentials?
I just want to know if multiple users want to have same access like view only access to same report and no activities or transaction postings in D365.
Kindly advice.
Thanks for response Andre. Its stock on-hand report.
Thanks good idea too. thanks suggestion Andre.
Hi Kannadasan,
Technically it is possible, but you need to comply with the licensing requirements which clearly states that it is based on named users. Microsoft can use telemetry to find out if different users from multiple IP addresses is accessing the system. So, each of the 150 would be an individual user. Why don't you send the report to the customer in a recurring batch job? What type of report are you talking about?
Thanks for reply hitesh. Sorry its other way around. Single userid to multiple customers.
Suppose User id is "CustomerUserID" can I login multiple times with user id "CustomerUserID" from different customers?
Actually, Same User id to multiple users to view same report.
Its like customer wants to have access to system. how to handle if employee in the customer side wants access to same report only view access. customer wants to use 150 employees to have access to our system. but role is view report.
Hi ShyamSundar
You cannot have multiple users logged in with same credentials, however you can assign multiple users to a particular security role which determines their access
Regards,
Hitesh
