RE: Fixed asset movement schedule SRSS or SQL

Although I am a fan of SQL, and always look back to create such reports on the SQL level as it gives me powerful capabilities. Although, for the Fixed Asset Movement Schedule, Management Reporter can deliver the target as long as you are looking to get cost values rather than numbers.

This may depend as well on the way your chart of account is designed regarding the asset cost, depreciation accounts, retirement and gain and loss accounts. To be on the same page, this is the common template for the FA movement Schedule :

    Account Category     Jan 2013 - Additions  - Disposal  - Transfer  - Dec 2013

Take a look at MR and see whether you could get it achieve or not depending on your COA desing. If this is not the template you are looking for, you may provide us with the template you want to get.

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,
