Two weeks ago the Business Central environment was automatically updated for all our customers. Will there be in the future a notification which will be given to the users when a new update has been planned? So that they receive clearly a message about the comming updates.
As far as I know, there is no way to postpone or deny updates to Business Central online versions at the moment. Users do not get any advance information about the coming updates.
Currently MS publishes new versions of the On Premises version every month, and the updates to Docker images are out about the same time. You can keep track of the published Docker images by following Waldo's blog instructions www.waldo.be/.../list-all-nav-docker-image-tags-on-docker-hub
When there is a new image in Docker repository, it is likely that you will as well have an update to your BC very soon.
However, I am quite sure that there will be similar functionality adapted to BC as there currently is with Dynamics 365 (CRM) or Dynamics Finance and Operations updates. You can read more about these products from links below.
