Company not showing in the payroll magnetic media window

We have a situation where all of the GP companies except 1 display in the window to create the W-2 Payroll Magenetic Media file. I've checked the DYNAMICS..W200005 and W200006 tables and the company doesn't display there either. However the companie's W-2 records are in all the applicable YE specific tables and they already printed the W-2's. I'm hesitant to recreate the YE Wage File for 2011 because the employee's that previously did payroll are no longer at the company and we are not sure if any manual edits had been done to the W-2s and recreating the YE wage file woudl wipe those out.

Any ideas on what triggers the company to display in the Payroll Magnetic Media list?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Stephanie,

I'm going to insert the company records into the Dynamics tables I noted above and see if it will let us build the Mag Media file, if that doesn't work then we will try 'Recreating the YE Wage File'. In which case we'll need to verify the amounts haven't changed but that should be relatively easy to do.

Wally - did you find a solution to this problem? I am trying to create our file as well and 2 of our companies are not showing up.
