In this release (Application release:AX7 7.0.1265.23014  Plateform release:R1Update1 (7.0.4127.16103)

Several standard maps do not have elements in the mapping node.

Sample: JournalTransMap mapping node is empty.

In AX2012 R3:
JournalTransMap with 17 elements in mapping node.

There is no restore option on the standard map for restoring standard nodes.

Any Idea?

    I found the reason:

In this version some elements mapping map moved to a new node mapping on table object.

If you want customize with specific field you need to used restore option on the table for new fields mapping.

It's no problem at all, just improved architecture.

In AX 2012, adding a new table to a map required changing the map itself via overlayering, but we want to avoid it in AX 7, don't we? Therefore mapping can be defined at tables - for example, look at Mappings on LedgerJournalTrans table. If you want to add a new mapped table, you create mapping at your table in your own package and you don't have to touch the map in Application Suite.

Yes i am agree with you Martin.

It's better more flexible, the only disadvantage is if you need a specific on one one table you need to modify all the existing mapping tables( with restore option) when standard code already exist.
