Importing Items Discounts and Applying Special Discounts

Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience in importing discounts into Business Central from an Excel Spreadsheet using the Configuration Package?

I notice that there are only two mappable fields when you choose the Item discount which looks to be ID and description? I have a customer who wants to add a discount matrix onto specific items either based per customer or just whoever purchases the item / service.

Along with this I also need to discover a way for when someone buys for say 5 of one item then this unlocks an increased discount either by amount or percentage? This will also need to increment.

Thanks,

Andrew

    hi,

    All of this is possible.

On the Item-Page select "Set Special Prices & Discounts" in the Menu.

    Then open "Set Special Discounts".

Use Table "Sales Line Discount" (ID: 7004) in the configuration package.
