I am trying to migrate FRx reports to Management Reporter(version 2.1.6041.36). Before migrating the reports I consolidated all of the reports into the Default spec set. They had a DYNDEMO spec set that I deleted (I also deleted the corresponding .f32 file for DYNDEMO). I also did the following cleanup in FRx prior to the migration
1. verified all reports pointed to actual companies (no reports pointed to @Any for the company or a company that did not exist)
2. deleted all unused reports
3. deleted all .g32 files then logged back in and set each company to default
4. compacted current spec set database and current system database
Halfway through the validation process, the validation stops with the message 'Management Reporter for Microsoft Dynamics ERP has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem'.
When I click 'Close the program' the window opens telling me the migration has completed and I select to see the migration log. Some of the reports migrated, but most of them don't. The error message that is next to ones that fail is
'The report BalanceSheet1 references an unknown specification set DYNDEMO.'
I deleted the DYNDEMO spec set prior to the migration, but it appears that the migration wizard is still seeing it somewhere. If anyone has any suggestions on how I can get these reports to migrate it would REALLY be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Brigitte,
When you start the migration wizard, select the option that just does the migration and not the validation. I had someone else that was having a similar error that referenced rows that did not exist anymore. After select the 'Only migrate and convert FRx 6.7 data' option in the wizard, it ran without any errors.
