Address for A Custom Entity - Best Practices

Custom Entity: "Property" - this is a physical property - a building, piece of land etc.

"Property" will have a N:N relationship with another custom entity - "Case File"

I need to record the address(es) of "Property". Is there any OOB functionality to deal with this, or is it a case of creating the necessary fields (Address1_line1, Address1_line2) etc? I've noticed the "Address" entity, but I'm not 100% clear on what that's used for..

    OOB Address entity can be used with Account and Contact entity.

    We cannot create relationship for address entity for other custom entities hence you cannot use address entity with your custom entity "Property"

    you can create a custom entity for address with the fields you need and create 1:N relationship to your "Property" entity

    Out of curiosity, why would you recommend creating a seperate custom Address entity rather than just creating fields on the Property entity?

    if you have multiple addresses for each property it would be better to create a custom entity and add the subgrid in your property form instead of creating multiple fields in property entity (address1,address2,address3, etc)
