How to change writing language in a textfield on AX form & report.

Hi to All,

I want to change writing language in a text field on AX form and report.

e.g. when a user write some text in a text field, so it will show in "Urdu language" rather than English.

and this should apply only on one text field. And same text show on report as well.

Please help me out how can i achieve this.

    when it comes to data entry, system shows what has been entered previously. An example is Products/Items Translation in AX.

    Basically there is no engine such as Google Translator in AX. So it is straightforward; what we input we get output.

    Now if you want to get string "ABC" into any other foreign(non-ENUS) language, you can have a table which will save all translations for that particular string "ABC"

    These translations can be entered either manually by user by any automation. You can provide users with option to select language when they are entering  some text. the selected language at time of data entry will be considered as language of input text.

    Thanx Sohaib Cheema for reply.

    But i could not get a clear direction from these links.

    I want to this on a developer-defined form (new form) not an ax built-in form.

    In any computer writing language depends upon what you have setup in windows(operating system)

    I believe AX also reads your current culture info and keyboard works in same way.

    Thanx again for your guidance, Sohaib Cheema.

    But i don't want to change windows language or AX language.

    I want to change language of a specific textfield.

    e.g. we achive this in C# such as we create it's textchanged event or other events like keydown or keypress for a specific field.
