We just upgraded our test server to GP 2013 R2. After upgrading the web client pieces, and GP on the session server, we launch GP in the web client, and the project area page is blank. We have headers, but no links to open windows. PA looks fine in the fat client installation. We were in both clients as a poweruser.
Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks. Yes, the project area page was blank. We determined that PA had not been installed on our two session servers. The installation resolved the issue.
Thanks, this resolved our issue. I didn't do the installation of the session servers, and I assumed PA was installed. It was not.
If you are using a multi server install PA needs to be installed on every machine that has Session Service installed.

How about the Desktop GP Project area page? it remains blank?
Desktop GP, Please make sure that all the options checked in "Customize this Page" window in the Top Right corner of every module page.
If it is un-checked, then the Web Client also remains empty. check to enable Web Client normally.
Apart from this, the same issue is exist in UAT?
For your login the Project area page remains blank? or it is blank for all users?
