GDPR - Clearing Compisite Fields Via Workflow?

Hi

For GDPR reasons i have a workflow which anonymises contact records. Im having trouble with the composite address field.

If i set the workflow to clear the field it doesnt work, i understand the address is in an entity of its own but how do i clear it?? or even delete it?

    Hi,

    You would need to clear each of the fields that make up the address composite field individually.

    E.g. Address 1 street 1, Address 1 street 2 etc...

    If you have additional address records, other than just the ones create by the address fields on the contact, related to your contact records you would need to delete those as well.

    Hi ,

    Composite field is nothing but its taking value from its sub fields , so if you  clear sub fields it will automatically change your composite field , but reverse its not possible . It is by design.
