Dynamics GP 2015 R2 Web Client Install A problem occurred creating a session

I am receiving the below error when trying to run the web client on a new web client installation.  I receive this error after logging into the GP Web Client using IE 11.  I checked the Event Viewer and it says the same thing plus check the Central Session Service logs but that folder is empty.

This is an internal single server deployment, running web client on the server.

A problem occurred creating a session. Please try again later or contact your administrator.

    I got the same message and I had uninstalled the web client runtime and hadn't reinstalled so don't forget to install it.  Thanks for the direction.

    Good to hear, the webclient install can be a little tricky, especially the first go-around because of all the moving parts.

    Thank you everyone for your responses.  I got the answer on another site.  Seems I did not open the original GP installation and use ad/remove programs to add the web components there as well as in the web client install

    I remember running into a slightly similar problem because I was installing the webclient to my Default IIS site, I had other web applications tied to the Default site and this was causing some issues so I created a new IIS site and then installed the webclient to the new site and voila, presto it worked.  

    Are you installing the webclient to your Default IIS site?? If so are there any other websites installed there?

    Did you installed all the required SSL certificates during the GP web client server portion ?

    I am logging in from the web server.  This is a test, Azure, box with GP, SQL and website all in one.  I am specifically listed during installation as a web client and management console user

    the defaulted web client ports are open and active?? what about the GPWebClient users AD group, are you apart of that??

    Are both the GP Session Central Service and the GP Session Services running?
