Ax2012: How to set permissions to view only Users (UserInfo) page

Posted on by 15

We must provide a list of users and their permissions for the time of the audit.
An auditor cannot have access to edit user permissions. Everything must be in read-only mode.

So far I have only found the "SysUserInfoMaintain" privilege, which gives access to
System Administration -> Users -> Users, but unfortunately with edit mode.

How to share only user view and permission details?

Best regards

You need to create a privilege that grants Read access to SysUserSetup menu item.

Remember  Maintain privileges  gives edit access to the form. Look for privilege with "view" at the end. If you dont fine it create your own and set view access to the menuitem  of the form you are referring to.

    Hi Tom,

If there is no view privilege for the user information, you can create a new one or on "Your Auditor" role use table override permissions to restrict the access to view only.

    Hi Tom,

you will need to check if what roles are set to access that form by going to the view related  security role

Then if you find a role or a privilege  with View access  then you modify the role or privilege from  System Administration > Setup > Security > Security Roles. or do it from AOT by Drag and Drop

if you do not find any role or privilege  with view then you will need to use the Override Permission option .

I couldn't find View items, so I did a new role with items from the SysSecSecurityAdministrator role and started limiting. The link you provided did help.

    Thank you very much!
