Contact Subgrid Plus button not showing existing Record

Hi all,

I have created a custom lookup in Contact of Account  named ReferenceTo *Note not a single lookup field is Business required in contact 

and showed related records on Account form from ReferenceTo relation in subgrid

i need to add existing contacts in the ReferenceTo relation grid but the plus button is opening create from 

From other post i got to know removing Business required will do it but not happening 

Is it not allowed in contact and account

    i have tried creating in one more CRM for account contacts and found that

    Always contacts new form will open from plus button contact grid

    Hi Pravin

    i checked their is only two field required that is first name and last name

    its a fresh CRM and i created two lookups of account in contact and showed it on account in a grid 

    just want to add existing contact in that grid

    usually setting the business required option to optional do the thing for entities other than contact and account

    I am getting a feeling it doesn't work for contacts grid on account form

    Can't find anyone to confirm this

    Hi Moin,

    As you have mentioned that lookup field is not mandatory. In that case there can be another possibility is that another lookup field. Is there any another lookup of that entity which is hidden and mandatory ?

    but i need to show lookup search of contact records when click on plus button i don't want to hide it

    i need to do like the below image that will search contacts

    It is be related to security role if your user's security role dont have append and append to privilege then plus button not appear.Check security role of user.
