Machine centres, work centres and capacities.

Good Morning,

I am trying to work out how I can shut down a machine centre so that the availability of capacity is no longer used in the work centre load, or at all.

I am using people as machine centres, I have people that have people that have left the company. I have changed the routings. I cant delete the machine centres as it says there are entries associated with it.

My understanding was that that changing the capacity to 0 would discount the machine centre capacity all together but it doesn't appear to have done so.

Advice please.
