I have a scenario - there is a license plate in a bulk location. The license plate contains a quantity of 36.
I need a quantity of 30 to max fill my primary pick location.
I have my replenishment setup and I get work to pick/put 30
The work first does a pick/put to a staging location.
Then, it will get picked from the staging location and put into a primary pick
The first user will take the full case of 36 and move it to staging. They don't stand there and count out 30. I cannot get it to allow me to pick the full 36 - i.e. over pick.
That is my first problem. I can round up to full license plate but then I am not seeing that 30 needs to ultimately be put into the final primary pick location.
Also, if I do round up to the full license plate, I am not able to split the put. Let's say I round up and pick the full license plate. I would then need to do a put of 30 in the primary pick location and a put the remaining 6 to another location, which it is not allowing me to do.
Has anyone faced similar?
I know that sales and production work differently but I can't seem to get this to work in replenishment.
