Total accounts and its usability in financial reportting

I've set up total accounts in my main accounts now. as shown in the screenshots. 
however, i don't see any uses for total accounts especially in financial reporting. for example trial balance:
total account statement:
now I'm not sure if total accounts is working or lacking some setups. 
I have the same question (0)

    It's not clear from your screenshots.  Have you mapped the accounts you want to sum to the Total account here?

    Yes, I've setup in total accounts like shown below:
    It also shows from its sub account：
    My question is what are its uses, I don't see it reflect in financial reports.

    RE: Financial reports, you have the Total Account mapped to a line in the Row definition in Financial reporter, right?  Have you tried resetting the FR Data mart?
