Arrival overview - Start arrival - Jump of receipt line

Posted on by 15

Hello community,

we are implementing D365 and setting up our ERP configuration. When testing our processes we have noticed an “annoying” system reaction.

For the inbound process of a purchase order we plan to use the Arrival overview mask.

After selecting a purchase order line and hitting “Start arrival” the journal is created excactly as seen in the example.

However – the annoying part – after that the a different line is selected – meaning I do have remember the initial number I have taken and then look it up again.

Is this a “bug” or is there a reason why there is this kind of behaviour. For our purposes this is rather uncomfortable.

Thank you for your replies,

Greetings

    Hi niuB,

If the cursor is going to the first record or a record before or after the currently selected record. it could be feature of this form, however if it is going to arbitrary record, feel free to submit a support  case with us.

    Thanks
