Hi guys,

In PO, can we confirm a PO while key in confirmation date in the past ? I tried to change Session time to the past, and then Create PO, click Confirm will not look at session time. Even if I choose to Generate Purchase Order Confirmation, there is no field to input the posting (confirmation) date, only Document date but that means nothing.

By looking at the table PurchTableFirstConfirmation, it only have VersionDateTime which taken the original TODAY's date and DeliveryDate which get from Purch Table Delivery Date. 

I need to have Purchase Order Confirmation in the past, that's why I change the session date. It is for analysis.

    Hi Tony zhong,

    I would recommend not trying to backdate transactions.

    Doing this often causes some problems sooner or later.

    What 'advantage' do you expect from confirming your PO into a prior period?

    Hi Ludwig,

    It is for analysis purposes. And it is only on UAT environment. I'd like to have some transactions on previous year. Even actually need some with dated 2 years back.
