Good day all,
I've been trying to find how to do the below to no avail. I suspect it's that i'm using the wrong search words but here is the problem I'm trying to solve in the hopes that some kind soul out there can point me in the right direction.
I've created an activity that will be added to a Project record multiple times over it's life. I need to add a lookup to that activity that will contain the type of related action being undertaken. That lookup should be filtered so that only the available actions are displayed. Each action can have 0:N prerequisite actions that must be on the project in order to be available to be added to the activity. Basically Action A and B can be added at any time but you can only add action F when A and C are present or D is present.
For the life of me I can't figure out which entities with which relationships I should create to make this functionality work. I'm fairly certain this is a self referential entity but I'm not sure how to set this up so that the lookup can be appropriately filtered. Any assistance would be most appreciated.
Can it be achieved with Dataverse search?
