PSTL installs just like most cnk files as a dictionary. It also installs some triggers on the tables.
First step is to open the Dynamics.SET file and remove the PSTL dictionary. If you do not know how to do this, get your partner involved because, if it is done wrong, you will have problems launching GP.
Second, there is a list of triggers that must be dropped. It is long.
Drop me an email at rwhaley@accoladepublications.com and I will send you a SQL script to drop these and detailed instructions for editing the set file.
Can it be done while people are in the system, yes.
What is the problem and why do you need to drop the application so fast?
Implications of uninstalling, you can't use the tool's features.
