Human Resources Discipline Points

I'm testing the use of the Human Resources feature in GP 2013 to track discipline points. I'm trying to figure out how to reset the points for all employees to zero at our fiscal year end. I'm sure I could delete entries in the database, but I'd like to keep the history. I don't see any way for points to be tied to year.

    I don't believe it has a feature to reset them yearly but still have history. Instead you could use the Discipline points for employee report, and modify the report to add a restriction on DIS_POINTS_LINE Date Filed to only be in the current year.

    Not that I am aware. You would have to make sure that one of the Payroll UPR tables for the paycheck linked to the HR score table DIS_POINTS_LINE (HR2DIS05) and in my experience HR tables can easily link to Payroll tables but not the other way around.

    Getting the Payroll tables to have a relationship with HR fields could take quite a bit of customizing work and in the end sounds like quite a bit of effort. Functionality wise I imagine these fields were designed in HR to be part of a quarterly/annual review with the employee and their manager, which is why getting it on a paycheck would be difficult.
