Hello,
I need to add a computer to my RMS 2.0.1000 Feature Pack 2 RMS network to run Store Operations Manager. I found an install folder apparently created by the original IT person but all the files appear to be updates. I was wondering if someone can possibly tell me what base files I need to install. I have some from a trial but I had tried that last year and it didn't work too well. I also know I need the Backward Compatibility fix for SQL Server 2005. Any assistance is appreciated.

Any customer presently processing credit and debit using RMS should be minimally on 2.0.2000 so on a new machine you would need RMS 2.0 2.0.0105/RMS 2.0.2000 CU5/RMS CU 5 Help files and while you are doing this apply hot fix 60 2.0.2022 as it is cumulative. All these files may be downloaded from customer source or you would need to obtain them from your Microsoft Partner. You need the backwards compatibility on the machine hosting the database if it is 2008 R2 Express SP 3 for example or you get an error saying you need SQL Management Studio to connect to the database, otherwise you don't need it.
