How to write the code in between Procedure [Function] using AL [ BC W1 16.3] on premise

Hi All

In the Codeunit  90 [Purch.-Post]  Ther is a function "PostInvoicePostingBuffer" and I want to write the code in between using event subscribing but this is no event.

so. I have a Question How to write the above code which is a mark on the above Image.  OR  there is another way to write the code if does not have an event subscriber. and can we override the "PostInvoicePostingBuffer"  procedure standard code with own code and execute the override method instead of the standard method. 

Please help me with that issue.

    Thanks for your Reply. I am working on Business central wave 1 Version: W1 16.3 (Platform 16.0.14073.14195 + Application 16.3.14085.14238)

    You have essentially two choices:

    1) request Microsoft to add an event in the base app in the place you need (or rethink the solution)

    2) modify the base application

    The choice 1 is the only way to go if you're targeting the SaaS environment (you cannot modify the base app on SaaS) or if you want to be compatible with the SaaS environment.

    The choice 2 is a possibility that you can take if you're targeting ONLY the on-premise world (this extension will never work on SaaS).
