How do I build a workflow in Dynamics that posts to a webhook?

Hi,

I am new new to Dynamics 365 and I want to do something very simple. I want to create a workflow. The rules of the criteria are as follows: a new lead is created and the field 'gclid' is not empty. That should trigger the workflow and then the users information gets sent to a webhook. That is all.

How do I do this in Microsoft Dynamics 365?

Hi,

First, you can refer to the following link to learn how to create a WebHook and use it with Power Automate Flow.

You can register following steps for WebHook.
This Step sets the filter attribute to a specific field, here the jobtitle field.
The WebHook will only be triggered if the jobtitle field of the created lead is empty.

You do not need to create a workflow to trigger the WebHook, you only need to register a specific step for the WebHook to trigger it.
For example, if the registered step Message is Create and the Primary Entity is lead, then when the lead is created, the WebHook will be triggered.

I created the following Flow to receive information from the WebHook.
The information includes the information of the created lead and the information of the user who called the WebHook.
