Changing a Case Status - Online 2016

Hey everyone,

I'm not using the ribbon, I've created a drop down list of my own statuses and I created a workflow that when "Resolved" is selected it will update the case status to "Resolved - Problem Solved". Now, when I go to resolve a case it still remains Active and not Read Only... what am I missing here?

    Are you using a workflow?  If so, make it synchronous, otherwise you won't see the change on the Case until after you reload it.

    Also, you could just update the system reasons so you could still use the built-in Case resolution.
