Reporting Tools Setup - Warning message (GP2013)

Hi,

Deploying SSRS reports using Reporting Tools Setup (GP2013) is giving a yellow warning triangle saying "Reports not at current version" even though the reports are deployed!

This warning was not in GP 2010.

Any clue?

Thanks.

RE: Reporting Tools Setup - Warning message (GP2013)

    Hi Tom,

The reports re-deployment did not help to avoid the warning messages.

    I found versions 11.00.1752, 12.00.1295, 12.00.1333 and 12.00.1413 in syDeployedReports table.

I deleted all the created companies prior to GP 2013 from the table syDeployedReports  then re-deployed the reports for the concerned companies.

The warning messages have been disappeared.

This means that the upgrade from GP 2010 to GP 2013 has an issue.

    Thanks for everybody.

    Regards.

    CHeck for these tables

SY40800 ,sySrsReports/syExcelReports and syDeployedReports tables which are located in the DYNAMICS database and compare the build number for the reports which is having a warning message and wihich is not .

    Hi Imad,

soma mentioned is right, also make sure the report server DB and Temp DB should be upgraded, for that you need to re-deploy the reports resolves the warning issue.

Just run the utilities with the options "Update Modified forms and reports" and "Synchronize forms & Dictionaries" and then re-deploy the reports in SSRS for all the companies

Hope this will resolve your issue.

    Hi IMAD,

The Microsoft Dynamics GP SQL Reporting Services Reports are automatically upgraded during the database upgrade if you are using SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 or later.  They are no longer support SQL Server Reporting Services 2005.

For your case this is related to version mismatch. To resolve this, you need to redeploy the reports in GP 2013.

If you need to redeploy the SQL Reporting Services Reports, please follow the instructions mentioned in the SQL Reporting Service Administrator Guide from below link.

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Hope this helps!!!

    Hi,

More than one company was created with GP 2010. All of them gave the same warning while the one which was created with GP 2013 did not give this warning.

I re-created TWO with GP 2013, it gave me the same warning.

I thing there is a table which is not updated by the upgrade from GP 2010 to GP 2013.

    Regards.

Are you used GP 10 with SQL server 2008?
