Hello,
I installed Microsoft Dynamics GP10(Client installation) on a client system succefully. I lauched GP through GP utility on getting to where i'll company in GP it gave me this error massage "THE DATABASE SETUP HASNOT BEEN COMPLETED FOR MICROSOFT DYNAMICS GP. USE MICROSOFT DYNAMICS GP UTILITES TO COMPLETE THE DATABASE SETUP BEFORE STARTING MICROSOFT DYNAMICS GP".
Have try re-insatlling several times but it kept repeating the same error message.
Please what can i do for the error message to stop coming so i can work on GP from a client system.
Thanks

@Ian and Leslie thanks. It worked
Leslie is correct. If you installed GP from the CD on the workstation, and the server has had a service pack applied, the workstation will be at an earlier version than the server.
As Leslie says, copy the contents of the GP application folder from a 'good' workstation and paste it into the GP application folder on the new workstation.
Your new workstation will then be at the same version of GP as the other workstations.
At least this will allow you to ignore version numbers as being your issue, if this does not resolve.
Thanks Lesile.
Am not getting the error at the sever its from a work station.
Thanks
Hi Sulaimon,
Assuming you are not getting this error at the server, have you checked the dynamics build on the server compared to the workstations? I'm guessing they may be different. You will always have to launch utilities after installing a new workstation to sycronize the new account framework.
An 'old man' fix used to be to copy all of the Dynamics Program Files from a working workstation to the non-working workstation and the problem often went away. I'm not suggesting this as the best answer, but we would all be fibbing if we said we had never done this.
Let us know what worked for you!
Kind regards,
Leslie
