I have created a number of ER formats for various documents, they are derived from the default Excel templates Microsoft provides and have no errors at runtime.
Within form setup/print management I have configured these to print to screen as PDF (expecting they will open as a PDF in a new tab). For most of the formats this works fine but for others the reports load on screen and do nothing. There are no errors. Just a loading screen and nothing. It affects both the default Microsoft format as well as my modified version.
I have checked in debugging mode and the correct data is pulled. I have switched the flag "Use destinations in draft status" in relevant entities, which has fixed problems in other entities for other reports. But now we are testing in a new entity and a different report is not working. I have completed a version of the format so it's not reading from the shared format. I have tried running the draft version.
The client wants the document as a PDF to review before they send to the third-party themselves. Emailing functionality within the system is not being used.
This is an issue that has occurred in multiple environments, and appears to affect different documents at random. What more can I try?
