I know that there have been issues with the values listed in the Inventory Valuation Report, but I believe we've applied all the up to date FixIts and Service Packs (currently, we're on RMS 2.0.2018), but there appear to be discrepancies between the counts in the Inventory Valuation report and the Item Quantity List. Usually, the issue is that, if we run the Inventory Valuation Report for today, there are a number of negative Closing Quantity values but, running the Item Quantity List, the On-Hand value is usually different (most of the time, it's zero). I know that the reports are getting their information from different tables (Inventory Valuation from the InventoryTransferLog and TransactionEntry tables, and Item Quantity from the Item table), but it seems like they should be the same if they're using the same dates (unless there's something going with how the inventory is entered).

I have the same question (0)Hello Tim,
Thank you for your question.
Currently, there is a product defect when Physical Inventory Counts are not factored into the Inventory Valuation Report, resulting in incorrect values displayed.
In addition, if you have ever simply changed an item's quantity in the Item properties menu, these are also not factored into the Inventory Valuation Report, resulting in incorrect values.
Thank you,
