Batch job for recurring sales lineitems (for multiple customers with different codes)

Hi all,

I have just setup recurring sales line items for my company. Every recurring salesitem lines that I made contains customer specific items and quantities, so each of the recurring lines is only coupled to 1 customer. However, the recurring sales do not have the same recurring period for every customer. Some of them are yearly, some monthly and some quarterly.

My question is, is there a possbility to run a batch job for all recurring line items with the same recurring period? I know I can do this by applying a filter for each customer or for each salesitemline code that I want, but I have a lot of recurring sales lines and it costs a lot of time to do this manually every month.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to select the codes that need to recur and be posted every month, for example?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi

How do you manage the "Recurring Frequency" ?

Is that part of the standard functionality?

If not yet ... I think that it is at least a good candidate for a product suggestion

    Hi Dirk,

    Thanks for your reply!

Right now we are using Exact for our financial administration, however we are currently implementing Business Central to replace Exact. In Exact it is possible to run a batch job for only the selected recurring invoices, however I do not see this functionality in Business Central. Some of our recurring saleslines are for monthly licenses and others are for yearly services.

I think this should be a basic functionality for a financial system, as I can not see how very large organisations with lots and lots of recurring saleslines would manage to do this all manually every month.

    Anyway, thanks for your answer!

Is there anyone else with the same problem that might have a solution for this?
