Ribbon workbench 20166 Button DisplayRule\OptionSetRule

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I want create some Logic for showing/hiding button using DisplayRule\OptionSetRule

It definitely doesn’t work. Apparently problem is in comparing of StateCode’s value. I tried to use “No”, “no” - Doesn’t work. Button doesn’t display.

When I set InvertResult to true, button displays but problem is that in tested case StateCode is equal to 0

    Hi Peter,

Try using the FormStateRule instead of OptionSetRule.

    See the links below.

The OptionSetRule is designated as Internal use only, so you may not be able to make it work. What are you trying to achieve ? If you want to display a button based on the record's statecode, then you could use a FormStateRule
