SBF 8.0: Checks are currently being processed , you will not be able to process more checks

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I am getting an error "SBF 8.0: Checks are currently being processed , you will not be able to process more checks"...does anyone know how to resolve this. I have tried to back up to earlier date of the database(system and company database) but to luck.

I think it has to be a value setting in one of the DB or a system running. I have also restrarted SQL Server.

This is Windoews 2000 and SQL Server 2000 environment.

Thanks

Thank you for the information. I figured it out:

    1. Make a backup of your company database by going to File | Backup.

    2. Clear data on the payroll work tables and activity tables by going to File | Data Maintenance | Clear Data | select the Payroll series and insert the Payroll Check Work table. Also, select the System series and insert the Payroll Activity and the Payroll Batch Activity tables. Click OK to run the clear data process and print the error log to your printer or screen.

    3. Next, run Check Links on the Payroll Transactions table by going to File | Data Maintenance | Check Links | select the Payroll Series and insert the Payroll Transactions table. Click OK to run the check links process and print the error log to your printer or screen.

    4. Continue with the Create Checks process.
