Hi Everyone,

Hopefully this is an easy question. I was hoping to get a printable list of the out-of-the-box security roles and associated tasks. Is this something I can build with a smart list, if so, how?

    There are several tables to this, and it depends on precisely what you want to see. You should be able to build something with SmartList Designer, and I also have some SQL queries that I use for determining the existing security assignments for GP users.

    IF it is set up & populated, the SY09400 is a great resource; that is the Security Resource Description table. You have to populate it, though, using this process: groups.google.com/forum

    Some relevant tables are:

    SY01400 Users Master

    SY09000 Task Master

    SY09100 Role Master

    SY09200 Alt/Mod Group Master

    SY10500 Assignment User Role

    SY10550 Assignment User Alt/Mod

    SY10600 Assignment Task Operations

    There are other tables, but these are the main ones that I use.

    You can also go to Reports >> System >> Security and print some out-of-the-box reports, but they tend to be quite long & difficult to read.
