Price List aren't controlled by security roles?

From what I can find it doesn't appear you can limit which price lists a user can or can not view. How can that be, that seems like such a basic need? You should be able to hide a deeper discounted price list from users and allow it for managers for example. When you create a price list it should show up in the security roles and you should be able to select which roles can see that price list. Am I missing something? Is there a work around? Thanks for any help! :)

Hi Scott

As Mehdi indicates, You can't manage security roles for each product catalog entities. One security role is applied for all product catalogs entities

You can't manage security roles for each product catalog entities. One security role is applied for all product catalog's entities: Product, Price list ...

You can hide some buttons with JS code. You can add some security management within a plugin while you retrieve your records.
